Please review these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the LA Party Rentals website, submitting a rental request, completing checkout, or renting equipment from us.

Self-Service Rentals

LA Party Rentals is a pickup and return rental service. We do not offer delivery or setup services unless otherwise stated in writing.

Renter Requirements

Renters may be required to submit ID verification, rental agreement forms, deposits, credit card authorization, or proof of insurance.

Rental Responsibility

Customers are responsible for rented items from pickup until return, including late returns, missing items, damage, loss, and misuse.

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the LA Party Rentals website located at www.lapartyrentals.com and to rental requests, purchases, reservations, forms, and services provided by LA Party Rentals.

By accessing this website, submitting a form, creating an account, placing an order, reserving rental items, or using any LA Party Rentals service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or submit a rental request.

2. Company Information

LA Party Rentals is a Los Angeles-based party and event rental company serving customers from our pickup and drop-off location in West Hills, California.

Our website provides information about rental equipment, rental requirements, pricing, availability, forms, policies, and related services.

3. Rental Availability

Submitting an order, quote request, rental request, or checkout form does not automatically guarantee availability of any rental item.

All rental requests are subject to review, approval, inventory availability, payment status, renter verification, required forms, deposits, insurance requirements, and scheduling.

LA Party Rentals reserves the right to approve, decline, modify, cancel, or refuse any rental request at its discretion.

4. Pickup and Return Only

LA Party Rentals does not offer delivery or setup services unless specifically agreed to in writing.

Customers are responsible for picking up, transporting, setting up, operating, packing, and returning rental items.

Approved rentals are picked up and returned from our West Hills location through our no-contact trailer lockbox or another approved equipment exchange method.

Customers are responsible for making sure their vehicle, helpers, and transportation method are suitable for the rental items being picked up.

5. No-Contact Rental Exchange

LA Party Rentals may provide approved customers with a unique access code for no-contact pickup and return.

The access code is intended only for the approved renter or authorized pickup person and may not be shared with unauthorized individuals.

Customers are responsible for securing, loading, transporting, unloading, returning, and properly placing rental items according to the instructions provided.

Failure to follow pickup or return instructions may result in additional charges, late fees, replacement fees, cleaning fees, or loss of future rental privileges.

6. Rental Requirements

Before rental items are released, customers may be required to complete one or more of the following:

  • Submit a signed rental agreement.
  • Provide valid government-issued identification.
  • Provide a selfie or identity verification image when requested.
  • Submit a credit card authorization or deposit.
  • Provide proof of rental equipment insurance or inland marine coverage.
  • Complete payment for rental fees, deposits, or related charges.
  • Confirm pickup and return dates.

Failure to complete required steps may delay or prevent release of rental items.

7. Identification Verification

First-time renters and authorized pickup persons may be required to provide valid government-issued identification.

If an ID is from out of state, additional identification may be required.

LA Party Rentals may request a selfie holding the submitted ID to verify the renter or authorized pickup person.

LA Party Rentals reserves the right to refuse release of rental items if identification cannot be verified.

8. Deposits, Credit Card Authorizations, and Insurance

Some rental items require a deposit, credit card authorization, proof of insurance, or equipment rental insurance before release.

A credit card authorization may be held for the replacement value of rented items and may be charged if items are not returned, returned late, returned damaged, returned incomplete, or returned in unusable condition.

Some items may require proof of equipment rental insurance, including inland marine coverage, naming LA Party Rentals or the appropriate rental entity as required.

Insurance requirements vary by item and rental type. Rental insurance purchased through third-party platforms may be subject to that platform’s terms and may not be refundable.

9. Payments and Pricing

Rental pricing, deposits, fees, and availability may change without notice.

Prices shown on the website may not include all applicable taxes, deposits, insurance requirements, replacement holds, processing fees, cleaning fees, late fees, or other charges.

Orders, checkout submissions, and quote requests may require review before final approval.

LA Party Rentals may accept major credit cards, digital payments, or other payment methods as made available through the website or approved communication channels.

10. Rental Periods and Late Returns

Rental periods are based on the dates and terms approved by LA Party Rentals.

Customers are responsible for returning rental items on or before the agreed return deadline.

Late returns may result in additional rental charges, late fees, missed rental charges, replacement charges, or other recovery costs.

If items are not returned and the customer fails to communicate, LA Party Rentals may treat the rental as abandoned, missing, or subject to recovery.

11. Cancellations

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the rental item, order type, event date, platform used, and timing of cancellation.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, customers may cancel without penalty at least 24 hours before the rental start date.

If cancellation occurs on the rental pickup day, or if reserved items are prepared but not picked up, the customer may be charged a partial rental fee.

Third-party rental platforms, insurance providers, payment processors, or delivery providers may have separate cancellation and refund policies.

12. Customer Responsibility for Rental Items

Customers are responsible for all rental items from the time items are picked up, accessed, released, or otherwise placed in the customer’s possession until the items are returned and inspected by LA Party Rentals.

Customers are responsible for loss, theft, damage, missing parts, misuse, improper operation, late return, cleaning, repacking, and replacement costs.

Customers agree to use all rental items safely, responsibly, and only for their intended purpose.

Customers may not alter, modify, repair, disassemble, loan, sublease, sell, or transfer rental items without written permission from LA Party Rentals.

13. Damage, Missing Items, and Cleaning Fees

Rental items must be returned complete, clean, organized, and in the same general condition in which they were provided, excluding ordinary wear and tear.

Items returned dirty, damaged, incomplete, disorganized, improperly packed, or requiring special handling may be subject to cleaning, repair, organization, replacement, or labor fees.

If items are lost, stolen, destroyed, damaged beyond repair, or not returned, the customer may be charged up to the full replacement value plus applicable rental, administrative, recovery, and collection costs.

14. Equipment Operation and Safety

Customers are responsible for reading and following all available instructions, safety guidelines, warnings, and manufacturer recommendations for rental items.

Customers agree not to use rental items in unsafe, hazardous, illegal, abusive, or improper conditions.

LA Party Rentals is not responsible for injury, property damage, event interruption, loss, or other issues caused by misuse, improper setup, unsafe operation, weather, power conditions, customer negligence, or third-party conduct.

15. Public Parks, Venues, and Permits

Customers are responsible for confirming whether their event location requires permits, venue approval, insurance, power access, fire safety approval, park authorization, or other permissions.

Public parks and certain venues may require operating permits or special approvals for concessions, generators, amplified sound, tents, staging, lighting, or other rental items.

LA Party Rentals is not responsible for denied access, permit issues, venue restrictions, fines, event shutdowns, or inability to use rental items due to location rules.

16. Third-Party Services and Links

The LA Party Rentals website may include links to third-party websites, payment processors, rental platforms, insurance providers, delivery providers, social media platforms, or partner companies.

These third-party websites and services are not controlled by LA Party Rentals and may have separate terms, privacy policies, fees, refund policies, and requirements.

LA Party Rentals is not responsible for third-party websites, third-party services, or transactions completed outside of our website.

17. Website Content

Website content, product images, descriptions, pricing, availability, categories, instructions, and policies are provided for general information and may be changed at any time.

LA Party Rentals makes reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate, but does not guarantee that all content, pricing, availability, descriptions, or images are complete, current, or error-free.

If an error appears on the website, LA Party Rentals reserves the right to correct it and update or cancel affected orders or rental requests.

18. Accounts and Customer Information

Customers may be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information, login credentials, order details, rental access codes, and submitted documents.

Customers agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting orders, forms, quote requests, ID verification, insurance documents, payment information, or rental agreements.

LA Party Rentals may cancel or delay rentals if submitted information is incomplete, inaccurate, suspicious, unverifiable, or inconsistent with rental requirements.

19. Communications

By submitting a form, placing an order, requesting a quote, or renting equipment, you consent to being contacted by LA Party Rentals by phone, SMS text, email, or other reasonable communication methods related to your rental, request, account, or service.

Customers are responsible for monitoring communications and responding promptly to rental-related requests.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LA Party Rentals shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from website use, rental item use, event interruption, customer misuse, venue restrictions, weather, transportation issues, third-party conduct, or inability to use rented items.

Customers agree that LA Party Rentals’ liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid directly to LA Party Rentals for the specific rental or service giving rise to the claim.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LA Party Rentals, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the website, rental items, event setup, operation, transportation, venue use, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

22. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

Any disputes related to these Terms & Conditions, the website, or LA Party Rentals services shall be handled in the appropriate courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise required by law.

23. Changes to These Terms

LA Party Rentals may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect business changes, website updates, customer feedback, legal requirements, or operational needs.

Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms & Conditions.
